BUT
Maintaining an online presence is not enough as he has great ambitions in himself. He wanted to expand his domain where he can show his works, skills, projects and everything he does, so people can directly have access to it. Problem was simple, so was the solution.

A website where Helmi Tatanaki can be branded as an individual as well as a business entity. Although Helmi has had his personal image in the market for several years, now when we say business entity, one needs a good logo which justifies its mission.

As the DigitalSpan team started to brainstorm on the idea for the logo, goal to show Helmi’s core competency, data management was very clear.

It was easy, right? It wasn’t!

Representing data was not easy as it sounds. Data can be in any form. As water can take any shape or colour – data also has various forms. From numbers to Images; excels to accounts; small company details to big organisations complex world wide working structures. Thus the idea being simple yet very complex.

Concept A

Idea behind this was very intuitive and self-explaining. The strokes of the font represent Data bars as we see in any presentation or any presentation in meetings. The bars kept bold to give an impact

Concept B

In this concept idea E is shaped as a messenger bubble to represent consultation. The intruding lines end with a circle to represent technology.

Concept C

Here, “H” is designed with curved brackets and a dot showing technology and data at the same time.

Although all these concepts show basic ideas for data and technology. But not enough for Helmi’s overall personality.

Final Concept

The very thought behind the monogram of letters H&T with various sizes of dots indicates data points which can represent any type of data. Fonts are more appealing, suggesting communication as consultation and communication courses.
